An Egyptian writer and novelist who obtained a law degree from Cairo University in 1949. He worked as a lawyer after his graduation and joined the radio on May 1, 1950. He is known for several radio programs, including Voice of the Arabs Evenings. He wrote fictional works, including "The White Dress" and "A Storm on the Horizon." He directed many programs, such as The Four Imams (1951). He received the State Incentive Award in radio directing in 1972. He received the Medal of Science and Arts of the first class in 1973, and he also received a certificate of appreciation from the President of the Republic for his program Press Street. He died on June 8, 1998.
