He is an American actor, born in California, USA. His parents are John Astin and Patty Duke, and he is the half-brother of actor Sean Astin. She attended Ralph Waldo Emerson School before attending University High School in Los Angeles. He is known for The Magicians (2016-2018) and Scandal (2014-2017).
