A French writer and director, born in Paris in 1980. She was raised by her father who worked in the field of translation and her mother of Moroccan origin. She started working in the cinema as a screenwriter for a number of short films before writing and directing her first feature film Belle Épine (Dear Prudence) in 2010, and then Grand Central (2013), for which she won the François Chalet Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
