Cambodian-French film director, born on April 18, 1964 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He became famous in French cinema circles for the 1989 Documentary Site2. After that, his works focused on the history of his mother country, and he received critical acclaim such as Land of Wandering Spirits (1999).
