An American actress, born in Creston, Iowa, in the United States. She is best known for her role as Mrs. Krabappel in the series The Simpsons (1990-2014). She won an Emmy Award for performing this role in 1992. She is also known for her role in The Bob Newhart Show (1972-1978).
