Indian actor born on September 28, 1982, in Mumbai, India. His parents are actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, and his grandfather is actor-director Raj Kapoor. He married actress Alia Bhatt in 2022. He studied filmmaking and method acting at the School of Visual Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. He made his debut in Saawariya (2007). He's known for Rockstar (2011), Wake Up Sid (2009), and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013). He won many awards, including Filmfare Award for Best Actor for Sanju (2018).
