American director, producer and screenwriter who was born on December 2, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA to a family of Greek origins. She obtained a master's degree in fine arts and a degree in theater arts from the University of California, Los Angeles. She's known for Wayne's World (1992) and The Little Rascals (1994).
