John Turturro is an American actor and director of Italian origins, born on February 28, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York. He reached his peak when he worked with Francesco Rosi in 'The Truce' in 1997. As a director, John worked on five movies, the first of them 'Mac' which won the Golden Camera at the Cannes Film Festival in 1992. Despite his popularity around the world, the quiet New Yorker never stopped working on contradictory projects; whether we see him in Robert De Niro's 'The Good Shepherd', or working with Woody Allen in 'Fading Gigolo' or sharing the late Philip Seymour Hoffman's last movie.
