A Sudanese-Canadian musician, composer, producer, singer, and songwriter in English, who is considered one of the best guitarists in Sudan in the 1970s and 1980s before leaving Sudan for Egypt. He worked with bands in Sudan and Egypt and produced songs for artists like Mohamed Mounir and Moustafa Amar. He was chosen by directors to participate in the films Al-Mansi (1993) and Ice Cream in Glym (1992). He eventually emigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and settled there with his wife, Zainab Howaires.
