An Indian actress, born on June 9, 1975, in Mumbai. She is the granddaughter of the lawyer-politician Rajni Patel. After she finished her high school studies in Mumbai, she traveled to U.S to obtain a degree in Economics from Tufts University in Medford. She worked as a model for well known brands such as, Fair & Lovely, Cadburys, and Lux. After returning to India, she joined a theater group and performed in several plays. Her film debut was in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000), opposite Hrithik Roshan.
