An Italian actress, born in Rome, Lazio, Italy. She gained fame after participating in the Miss Italy contest in 1946. Then she began her acting career, and was one of the most famous stars of Italian cinema in the post-World War period in the 1950s. She appeared in more than fifty films during her career, and starred alongside many stars such as Buster Keaton and Alberto Sordi. Her artistic activity declined in the sixties because she was taking care of her elderly parents. Her credits include O.K. Nero (1951) and Koenigsmark (1953). She died at the age of 90.
