A writer, critic and theater director, born on February 20, 1941 in Sohag. He got his Ph.D. in the rhythm in the arts of stage acting and directing. He has held many positions, including professor of theater at Alexandria University, Department of Theater, Faculty of Arts. He directed over 40 plays, and wrote many plays and dozens of theatrical studies. He founded many theatrical troupes, such as the Political Theater Troupe in 1964.
