An Irish singer and songwriter, born on September 13, 1993, in Mullingar, Westmeath. Since he was 6 years, Niall loved music and started playing the guitar when he was 12 years old. In 2010, after he auditioned for the X Factor, he co-founded the boy band One Direction on the show, winning third place. One Direction was signed by Simon Cowell to a Syco record contract, and their debut song was "What Makes You Beautiful", which was one of the biggest hits in America in 2012. Their debut album "Up All Night" (2011) reached number one on the music charts in the USA.
