An American actor, born on July 21, 1943, in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. He studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art on a Fulbright Fellowship. He started his acting career in 1970. He is known for The Lost Boys (1987), Intolerable Cruelty (2003), The Aviator (2004), and The Good Wife (2010-2013). He was nominated for several awards and won a Primetime Emmy award. He died on December 31, 2014, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Hospital, of brain cancer, at the age of 71.
