An American actor and producer, born on December 14, 1935, in Chicago, USA. He was of French-Canadian descent, and his father was actor Cliff Arquette. Lewis studied at Lee Strasberg's Actors Studio in New York. He also worked as a comic and started his career in 1958. His notable work includes The China Syndrome (1979), Tango & Cash (1989), and Waiting for Guffman (1996). He died on February 10, 2001, in Los Angeles, USA.
