An American actress and model, born September 16, 1924 in New York City. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe Award in 1997 for Best Actress for the movie The Mirror Has Two Faces. She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York after high school. She began her career in 1942 in the world of fashion as a model. She appeared on the cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine, which is one of the most famous magazines in the United States. She began her artistic career in 1944 through her participation in the film To Have and Have Not. She married actor Humphrey Bogart on May 21, 1945. After his death in 1957, she was married to actor Jason Robards from 1961 to 1969. She has a son and daughter from Bogart.
