A Polish-American actress, born on May 5, 1911, in Poland. She made her stage debut in Bialystock under director Yehuda Greenhoyz. In 1939, after the Nazi invasion of Poland, she fled with her daughter to Russia and subsequently moved to the United States of America, where she continued her artistic career as an actress. She is known for It Could Happen to You (1994), Celebrity (1998), and Flawless (1999). She died on January 10, 2010, in Manhattan, New York, USA.
