An American director and actress. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree and began her artistic career with the Atlantic Theater Company on Broadway. She participated in many plays in New York, in addition to films by directors James Gray and Andrew Jarecki. She also attended the American Film Institute's prestigious Directing Workshop for Women. She is known for Some Boys Don't Leave (2009), Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018), 9-1-1 (2018), and The Gifted (2018).
