An American actress, born in Boston, Massachusetts She studied theater at Wheaton College and at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. She began her career when she participated in Ed's Next Move (1996). Her role in Necessary Roughness (2011-2013), won her a Golden Globe Award in the Best Actress category.
