An American actress, born in Tennessee, in the United States. She is of Welsh, Irish, and Scottish origins. She graduated from Brainerd High School in Tennessee, then went to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. After graduating, she moved to New York, where she worked in theater. She is known for We Are Marshall (2006) and The Staircase Murders (2007).
