A Kuwaiti cinematographer who worked in the cinema department of Kuwait Television in its early days, and collaborated with other Kuwaiti directors, led by Mohammad Al Sanousy and Khaled Al Siddiq in doing programs and documentaries produced by this department. He worked as an assistant director with major Arab cinema directors. He also worked in other fields such as editing, cinematography, and sound mixing. He did a number of documentaries, including The Arts. He participated in many international film festivals. He completed his second feature film, The Silence, in 1980.
