A British actress, born as one of four children to Irish immigrant parents in the northwest of the English capital, London. She initially wanted to join the prestigious University of Oxford to study the English language, but she soon changed her mind and decided to become an actress. She joined the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and graduated in 2005. Her credits include Bright Star, Murderland, and Ripper Street.
