An Egyptian actress, who graduated from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the American University in Cairo. Her husband, director Mohamed Samy, gave her the opportunity to make her first appearance on TV, by introducing her in the series The Story of Hayat, and then nominated her to work in the series Words on Paper. Mai presented her first roles away from her husband in the series State of Love, and had her first stage experience in the play Dad Brought Bananas, after which she appeared in the series The Legend, and Keep Your Wife Happy.
