An American actor, producer and writer, born in Washington on August 30, 1948. He graduated from Spring Rock High School in 1966, then from the University of Carolina In 1970, where he studied playwriting, after that he returned to Washington, where he presented theatrical and stand-up comedy shows. He obtained a Master of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama in 1977. In 1986, he appeared in the film Hannah and Her Sisters. He also participated in television series, beginning with the comedy series The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd in 1990. He participated in many works such as the short film The Deal (1998). Among the works he produced was the documentary film Caris' Peace (2011), he also participated in the drama film Afghan Luke in the same year, and was a voice actor in the animated film Inside Out (2015).
