British actress, born on January 11, 1962 in Sunderland in the United Kingdom. She received her secondary education at Monkwearmouth Academy before attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She began her artistic career in 1984. Her most prominent works, include: Bread (1986), Pet (1983), and The Bill (1984).
