An American musician, singer, and songwriter, born on July 3, 1946, in Alta Loma, Texas, United States, and raised on a dairy farm near Alta Loma. Lee formed a rock and roll band in high school. Upon his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served aboard the USS Chicago. He worked for 10 years with Mickey Gilley as a singer. Moreover, he participated in the soundtrack album of the 1980 movie Urban Cowboy.
