An English actor and writer, born in Walsall, England. He was the younger brother of actor Peter McEnery. He studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and joined the National Theatre of Great Britain in 1966. Some of his credits are Romeo and Juliet (1968) and Nicholas and Alexandra (1971).
