An American writer, director and producer. He started his career in 1994 by working as a writer on the movies The Client, Silent Fall, and Batman Forever, and then participated in many works, most notably writing the movie A Beautiful Mind (2001), and producing the movies Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and I Am Legend, which he also co-wrote. He made his directorial debut with the movie Winter's Tale (2014), which he wrote and co-produced as well.
