An American actor and baseball player, born in Los Angeles, California, United States. He was a football and basketball player at Notre Dame High School in California before graduating in 1964. After graduating, he rejected a football scholarship from the University of Southern California, in order to join the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1964 in Major League Baseball. He also played for several teams and boxed as an amateur. Some of his credits include The Firm, Waterworld, and Runaway Jury. He died on February 26, 2011.
