He is an Irish actor, born on March 21, 1965, in Dublin, Ireland. He is known for How I Live Now (2013), The Devil's Own (1997), and Rebel Heart (2001). He is married to Monica Ronan, with whom he is the father of Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan.
