An American playwright, screenwriter, and producer, born in Fargo, North Dakota, United States. She is also a professor in the Department of Cinema and Television Arts at California State University. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree, then continued her education in graduate school and obtained a Master of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina and a doctorate from the University of Exeter. Her credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame II (2002) and Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002).
