American actress, born on May 21, 1928 in the United States. She graduated from Pembroke College (Brown University) in 1950. She was nominated for Drama Disc Award for Best Performance by a Stage Actress, and Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Among her most prominent works are: Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), Nobody's Fool (1994), and Doubt (2008).
