A Syrian writer and poet, born in the Albukamal area in Deir ez-Zor, Syria, on March 18, 1943. He received his primary and preparatory education there. He obtained a certificate of eligibility for primary education from the Primary Teachers’ House in the city of Hasaka. He worked in the field of education since 1962. He also worked in the press and radio. He was assigned in Sana’a from 1978 until 1981, he also worked at Voice of Palestine Radio as a producer and broadcaster, then as a text reader for Radio Damascus. A member of the Arab Writers Union since 1970, and a member of the Union of Journalists. In addition to writing poetry, he has many articles, angles, and radio and television series. His first work was a collection of poetry entitled The Wounded Flute.
