A British-Australian singer and actress, born in Lancashire, England. She joined the Royal Ballet School in London, and worked for a year at the Australian Opera Ballet. She also released a number of albums, such as “What I Did for Love" and "A Tribute to Garland", in addition to her film appearances in Moulin Rouge! (2001) and De-Lovely (2004). She had previously been nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award in the Best Actress category.
