An American director and writer, born in Seattle, Washington. He grew up in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He began his artistic career as a director and writer through the 2004 movie 1.0, then he and writer Diane Wright established the Milk Boss company to develop feature films, documentaries, as well as series. His most prominent movie is The Colony (2013).
