A British actor, born in Highgate, London in 1944. He graduated from the Royal College of Dramatic Art. He has held various positions and memberships across the Royal Shakespeare Company and the London Critics Circle. Among his most notable film roles are: Casanova (2005) and Boogie Woogie (2009).
