An American writer and director, born in Dallas, Texas, United States. He worked as a photographer during the war, after which he studied drama, worked as an actor, and worked in theater management. He also worked in a production company for three years. In 1952, he joined the Howard Anderson company and entered the world of screenwriting through his friend, screenwriter and actor Mark Hanna. His film debut was in The Cosmic Man (1959). His other credits include Beyond the Time Barrier (1960) and The Human Duplicators (1965).
