An American actress, born in Riverside County, California, United States. She began her career in 2009 through her role in the television series Medium. In 2018, she played the role of a socially struggling teenage girl in the comedy-drama film Eighth Grade, for which she received numerous awards and nominations, including a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. Her other credits include Despicable Me 2 (2013) and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022).
