American film producer, born on November 22, 1949, in New York. He went to Eaglebrook School, Hotchkiss School, and Wesleyan University, from which he graduated in 1971. He is an Academy Award-winning producer and an Emmy Award nominee. He is known for I, Robot (2004), Dreamgirls (2006), and Jerry Maguire (1996).
