A Filipino actor, director, and screenwriter, who started his artistic career as an actor, after which he turned to screenwriting and then to directing. In 2011, he directed the movie The Woman in the Septic Tank, for which he won awards for directing at the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival, the Golden Screen Awards, Philippines, and the Philadelphia Film Festival.
