A Qatari writer, born in 1956. She received a bachelor's degree in media from Cairo University, Department of Radio and Television. She worked as head of the family programs on Qatar TV, and she later devoted herself to writing children's literature. She contributed to the editing of the magazine Hamad and Sahar and served as a writer on the educational children's series Open Sesame. She started writing poetry at an early age and published her first poems in Al Ouruba magazine in 1971. She participated in the 1st Youth Festival in Algeria, and was in the preparatory stage at that time, with two poems and a poetry play about Palestine and Arab unity. She published some articles in Al Raya and Al Arab Qatari newspapers. Among her most notable credits are the series Children of Tomorrow S1, S2 & S3 (1999-2000) and Open Sesame S2 (1982).
