An American actress, born on February 13, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois. Kim worked as a showgirl for some local fashion houses in her high school times. After graduating, she received a scholarship at the Art Institute of Chicago but preferred to attend Wright Junior College instead. After Kim took some acting lessons, she appeared in her first film, Pushover (1954), after which she became famous for Vertigo (1958), Bell Book and Candle (1958), Picnic (1955), and Kiss Me, Stupid (1964).
