An American actor, born in San Francisco, California, United States. He worked in a variety of jobs, and also worked in a film studio in the silent film era, and after a short period, he went to New York, and worked in the maritime trade before he got an opportunity in the theater. He sang on the local radio, and then he returned to chase his dream of acting. Among his credits are Vertigo (1958) and The Beverly Hillbillies (1962). He died of a heart attack on April 15, 1980.
