American director, writer, and producer born on 4 September 1966 in Rockville, Maryland, US. He attended Washington University in St. Louis. He worked in journalism at the beginning of his career and was the editor and art director of several sports magazines. He is most notably known for working on the Jackass franchise and directing all of the Jackass film series. Additionally, he also wrote the film Bad Grandpa (2013) and directed the film The Dirt (2019).
