A Syrian writer and poet, born to parents from the city of Aleppo in Circesium, Al-Busayrah. His journey with writing began at a young age. He started writing short skits for a club he had founded with his friends, and then he became interested in contemporary poetry. He studied...Read more at the Holy Land Institute in Aleppo, obtained a high school diploma, and then worked as secretary of the institute. He studied French literature at the University of Damascus, but he did not complete his studies. Rather, he went to Lebanon to increase his culture, where he met many of the symbols of art and literature of that period, such as Assi Rahbani, Al Akhtal Al Saghir, and Ghada al-Samman. He lost his hands and eyes while defending the homeland. He's known for Soil Brothers S2 (1998) and Days of Rage (1997).
