An American actor, born on October 10, 1912, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He spent four years in the army, was wounded while serving in World War II, and returned to Philadelphia. He co-starred with director Elia Kazan in the 1951 movie Streetcar Named Desire, and is also famous for 12 Angry Men, and The Godfather. He died on March 29, 1982 in Denver, Colorado, USA.
