An American actress, singer and theater director, who graduated from Howard University. Among her most prominent films are Good Deeds, and For Colored Girls, while the series she's worked on include The Cleveland Show, The Life & Times of Tim, and Everybody Hates Chris. She has won many awards, including the TV Land Award in 2011 for The Cosby Show.
