An Indian film director and writer, born in Uttar Pradesh, India. He has co-written several films, including Jung (2000), Manorama: Six Feet Under (2007), and 13B: Fear Has a New Address (2009). His big break was writing and directing Dabangg (2010), which gained worldwide acclaim and he earned a nomination for Best Director at the Filmfare Awards and won the Indian Film Academy Award for Best Screenplay.
