Australian actor, his parents are Julie Sloan and Brian Gilbertson. He started acting since he was six years old in a role in the local version of Madama Butterfly. His cinematic career began with the Australian movie, Australian Rules (2002), followed by Accidents Happen. His US debut was through the movie Virginia (2010). His other credits include Need for Speed (2014), and In the Tall Grass (2019).
