An American actor, born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Malvern Senior High School, graduating in 1968. He then received an athletic scholarship to the University of Dubuque in Iowa and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history. He also worked as a teacher, in addition to being a boxer. He is known for Who's the Boss? (1984-1992) and Taxi (1978-1983).
